Very Bad Poetry

(okay out of character, I have no idea how to explain this one, so we may regard it to be completely unrelated to Omatav and his wacky adventures that don't seem to have actually happened yet. ooooooooooooooooop.)

THERE IS BAD POETRY AND THEN THERE IS VERY BAD POETRY

I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN DO!!! !

-------

Today my very best best friend
whose name, you know, was ryan

Was moving away, but I forgot where,
but anyway I wanted to do some good-bye-in'.

And lo; I saw the poor soul off,
and hoped his journey well.

His sweater was green, a greenish green,
Kind of like a cup of jell-

o. He smilled and bellowed, "I love you, friend!"
And tears warbled down his cheeks,

I knew, I wouldn't see him ever again
at least, not for some weeks.

It was looking very rather
bleak.

*cries*

5.to express or celebrate in or as if in song; carol.

so apparently it has nothing to do with the situation

  4. Omatav:
I believe that this poem was indeed rather gross in sentiments. However, I rather liked the line "tears warbled down his cheeks." You have a lot of potential with this line in channeling it into a more serious-situation poem.
    Sincerely,
    Miss Genevive Louise Noette
